DBT Transportation Services, LLC is the market provider of the Vaisala Non-Fed AWOS systems in the United States. Since 2004, Vaisala, and now DBT Transportation Services, have been committed to providing service and support for the WS425 Ultrasonic Wind Sensor in the following FAA approved AWOS systems – VC, VD and AW20. The time has come to inform you that service support on this sensor will come to an end on March 31, 2018.
The Vaisala WMT702 Ultrasonic Wind Sensor has been recently type certified by the FAA Non-Federal AWOS office for both AWOS upgrades and new projects, and is the replacement sensor for the WS425 sensor.
